Holiday Specials with the Les Deux Family
The light has been shut at the office, the gifts have been put underneath the tree and now all there is left to do is to enjoy a few days off with the family. As Holidays looks so very different across the world, a few members of the Les Deux team shares their plans, special traditions and their holiday style.
What are your plans for the holidays?
Well… Normally I go to the beach for the Holidays, haha. But not this time! [currently situated in London]
The No. 1 holiday tradition?
My traditions are quite standard; just to eat a lot without feeling guilty, snap some crackers and play secret Santa – and then eat some more! Especially lots of Christmas pudding.
Defining your holiday style?
When I am in a colder climate for the Holidays I like to feel really comfortable but a little dressed up. A lux cosy oversized jumper and sweat pants paired with a wool coat and clean white trainers.
What are your plans for the holidays?
Spending some quality time with my wife and two beautiful boys, is something that I’m looking very much forward to. This has been a crazy year at Les Deux in terms of retail. We’ve opened three new stores and with CV19 challenging the whole retail landscape. It’ll be good to chill just with the family.
The No. 1 holiday tradition?
The annual Christmas lunch with my family in law in the suburbs where my father in law makes his own ‘snaps’ and herring – in plural! But this year due the CV19 this is for now postponed.
Defining your holiday style?
As always athleisure. Suits the office, and the couch.
What are your plans for the holidays?
To decouple 100% from the everyday hussle and relax with a good cup of coffee and spend some cozy quality time with the ones close to me. Not to mention enjoying som great food and good old fashioned “Hygge”.
The No. 1 holiday tradition?
Getting the time to read some of my many books!
Defining your holiday style?
Keeping it somewhat casual for the holidays, so a pair of my favourite jeans, a simple Lens t-shirt and topping it off with an oversized blazer.
What are your plans for the holidays?
This year we stay at home, and isolate ourselves with the family. Our two daughters are now old enough to really enjoy and look forward to Christmas, so we do a lot of kids related things these days!
The no. 1 holiday tradition?
We normally always go to Church on Christmas Eve, but this year we´ll have to do it a bit differently. Watching the Disney Christmas Show is always something the whole family look forward to!
Defining your holiday style?
These very special times, I have two looks – one for a relaxed staying and working at home, and a “normal” look when going out or heading to the office. The Lens Sweatpants are an absolute must have when staying at home. I tend to combine it with a loose fitted t-shirt (like the Marais or the Austin) to complete the comfy and relaxed feeling, but keeping it cool and contemporary.
When going out and to the office, I have already found my favorite pair of jeans among the denim line that we are introducing for Autumn 21 (stay tuned for this!). I combine it with the Ethan boiled wool knit, which makes it perfect for this time of year.
